Guide courses
EVENING GUIDE COURSES from 2021 4th of October.; 2022 7th of March.
Duration of the course: up to 6 months.
Timetable: twice a week (Monday and Wednesday) from 18:00 to 20:15.
Location: M. Valanciaus st. 19, Kaunas (Apple Economy Hotel)
Accounting: according to the learning schedule.
Educational excursions: National M. K. Ciurlionis Art Museum, Historical Presidency of the Republic of Lithuania, Vytautas the Great War Museum and Kaunas Old Town.
Requirements for those who want to attend guide courses:
Higher education diploma (college or university), can be a final year student;
Knowledge of the state language – Lithuanian;
The desire to improve and constantly replenish the knowledge baggage;
Love for Lithuania;
Willingness to share knowledge with a tourist.
Subjects of course:
Basics of Lithuanian tourism law and aspects of professional ethics and professional activities of a guide;
Basics of Lithuanian culture;
Basics of Lithuanian history;
Basics of Lithuanian and European geography and overview of tourism resources;
Basics of world and Lithuanian architecture and art development;
Guide communication and rhetoric;
Basics of communication psychology;
Basics of first aid;
Methodology of organizing and conducting excursions.
Price: 363 Eur.
For those attending the courses of guides and tour guides, the total price is 545.55 Eur + 5 Eur for the production of a tour guide certificate.

Upon completion of the course, a qualification certificate of the guide of the State Consumer Rights Protection Service is issued. We will also offer a guide job to return students who have passed the subject exams very well, who are motivated and who feel good in the “fur” of the guide, in order to return the fees paid for the courses.
